Weithaga bible & technical college is a fully registered institution by Technical Vocational Education Training Authority(TVETA) registration No (TVETA/PRIVATE/TVC/0093/2020). The authority falls under the state Department for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) under the Ministry of Education, science and technology.
The College is located along Murang’a – Kangema Road next to Weithaga Boys High School. Weithaga Bible & Technical College is established within the Diocese of Mt Kenya Central as the training arm of the Diocese, seeking to train and equip church leaders, the elders of the church, and other groups within the church to capacity build them for service. It seeks to fulfill the greatest desire of the founder missionary Rev A. W. McGregor. The subsequent church leaders who took over the work of building the mission of the church. In 1961, under the leadership of the retired Bishop John Miahiani, weithaga had eleven students.
Our mission has its origin from a focus on integrating learning, personal development, and community engagement.
